Contracts, Liabilities & Risk Management: This course explains the principles of contract law and the important elements of a home building and remodeling contract and the difference between various contracts used in the residential construction industry. Requirements and types of insurance are also covered in this course, as well as the details of Workers Compensation.
Solar Energy Use: Renewable energy is contributing more and more to the world’s ever-rising energy demands. Solar energy generation systems are about to reach a level of affordability that will allow them to be considered equal to conventional power generation systems like fossil fuel plants and hydro-electric dams. Contractors should know what products are on the market, and what rebates and incentives are available for their customers who want to take advantage of energy efficient resources and components.
